Belle & Sebastian Live In Philadelphia

Belle & Sebastian brought winsome,
breezy vibes and a variety of atmospheres
to their very well received show at Philadelphia's
Mann Center For The Performing Arts last night.

Among the evening's highlights was
the band's common practice of inviting
audience members to dance on stage
during "The Boy With The Arab Strap".

The show lasted two hours, including
a main set of 14 songs and 2 encores. A new
song: "Sweet Dewelee" sounded album ready.

The Mann is known for handing out
illustrated baseball cards of each night's
perfromers. Tonight was no exception.

Andrew Bird's opening set was
elegant, entrancing and electric.
I will definitely see him perform again.

Many thanks to my buddy Steve for
accompanying me to yet another great show.
I hope you enjoyed your first Belle & Sebastian
experience. Let's have another one soon.
